I think it causes me physical pain every time someone says they don’t know what The Wonder Years is. Unfortunately, that happens quite frequently.

I’m not too sure why that is. Sure, the show is well past the time it aired, but many other shows have been kept with long after their running. I’m sad that a show like The Wonder Years has been lost amongst most people today.

I’d say it’s one of the greatest shows.

From the beginning, I wasn’t a fan of Kevin Arnold. Granted, that may have been because he was a middle school boy growing…

I can’t help but feel a sense of dread with the approaching year of 2021. It seems as though our troubles have no end in sight, despite 2020 coming to a close.

I’m sure most of us can vividly recall this past new year for 2020. We were all so excited to start a new decade. While the new year enables us to have a fresh start, a new decade is the beginning of an era. We felt we could create something monumental in this new time.

I don’t even need to go into why 2020 was hard. We all…

Spoilers below!

Wonder Woman is a force to be reckoned with. It’s not even that she’s the most powerful superhero. It’s that she fights with all her might, even if she gets knocked down. She will not give up. I think what makes Diana unique is her perfect combination of joyfulness, innocence, and ferocity. She fights with such confidence and ease, all the while keeping her hair in place. She’s truly inspiring. That’s why I was so excited to see the sequel.

Gal Gadot steals the show. You can’t help but root for her. In Wonder Woman 1984, Diana was…

Scarlett checked herself one last time in the car mirror. She decided everything looked good.

Today was the day she would finally see Mason again. It’d been far too long since she last saw him — maybe four, five months?

She took a deep breath. It was a moment Scarlett never thought would happen. Sure, she had hoped deep within that he would come back, but she thought he was gone for good.

Yet, for some curious reason, Mason was back in town visiting. What was even more mysterious was that he agreed to meet her today.

She shook her…

I went into The Legend of Korra (LOK) with an open mind. While I loved Avatar: The Last Airbender (ATLA), I gave myself time to get over the hype of that. I was prepared to see a show take place 70 years later and accept what that would mean for my favorite characters.

Starting off, I was immediately hooked. Korra was different from Aang. It was sweet to see how Katara and Aang’s family came to be, but it wasn’t the focus. We were able to see Korra on her own. …

Dear Caitlyn:

I’m not sure how I got the courage to write this. It’s been inside for a long time. But I’d been too nervous. I still am.

I know I probably shouldn’t be writing to you, bothering you with my silly thoughts. Yet, even though we don’t talk anymore, I still think about you from time to time.

Remember when we used to talk every day? How you were that person I’d always confide in, whether it was big or small?

Yeah, a lot’s changed since then. Back when you were one of my best friends.

You were one…

You don’t need to watch the news for long to see there’s a lot to worry about now. There’s just so much uncertainty. Add this to your daily problems, and you can easily worry yourself to pieces.

So, how can we prevent this from happening?

Do what you can. Make a list of things that make you worry. Assess your list and see what you can actually change. Is there something you can do now rather than later? Be proactive about it and get it done. Don’t let fear or laziness get in the way. …

I’ve always enjoyed the Fourth of July. It’s been a great time spent with family and friends. It’s a fun summer holiday where we get to commemorate freedom and watch fireworks.

But it’s so much more than that.

As I celebrated the Fourth of July earlier this month, I’m reminded of the sacrifices made by the men and women in our military. It’s because of these people that we get to do what we do. And I never want to take that for granted.

Our military gives it all for their country. They offer everything for what they believe. That’s…

Kaia was surprised to see Aiden so happy. If she had received news that her mother was sick, she would not be acting the same way.

Yet here he was, splashing in the water, trying to catch some waves. He kept on laughing, even when he’d completely wipe out. He didn’t look to have a care in the world. No one would have guessed there was something wrong with his mother.

Kaia knew she would be a complete mess if she were in his situation.

She knew she should be having a good time, but she couldn’t help but worry…

Avatar: The Last Airbender has some stellar characters. Aang is a great leading character, and I love that he’s doesn’t lead alone. He’s got amazing friends backing him: Katara, Sokka, and Toph. And of course, we can’t forget the wise and lovable Uncle Iroh. Any of these characters could be a favorite. But despite these phenomenal characters, there’s one that still maintains to stand above them all in my eyes, and that’s Zuko.

When we first met Zuko, he seemed to just be the customary villain needed on a cartoon show. He was an annoying, short-tempered, angsty spoiled teenager. …
